If I have my own design can you engrave it for me?

Please send your design along by email, along with contact info (phone number and email address)  include what substrate you want it engraved on. We will look it over and either phone you to discuss or reply by email, whichever you prefer.

Do you offer shipping?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can box up and ship your items pretty much anywhere in the world. Please let us know the address you want it shipped to, and we will do our best to get you an accurate cost that would be added to the purchase price of the product.

Question 3

Can I bring in my own item to have it engraved?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can.  In some cases, however, the final result on an unfamiliar substrate may not be optimal.  Each item and material we inventory and use undergoes testing, so we can dial in the settings. If we ran the tests on your item, we would require one for testing and one for the final product. We are glad to have a look at what you want engraved and give you our honest opinion on how good a result we feel we can provide without testing.

What happens if there is a mistake on my item when I receive it?

Mistakes happen, we are "only" human after all. If we made an error on our end, we will replace the item for you completely free of charge. Unfortunately, if the item has been engraved exactly as discussed and you approved the mock-up, that's on you. Please be sure to triple-check the mock-up prior to approving, it's always a good idea to show it to someone else for "another set of eyes". We want our clients to be happy, in fact, overjoyed with their experience with us. So that you return to us again and again and spread the word about Oceanside Lazer and our services.

How do you engrave the items?

We are using an AP Lazer open architecture CO2 laser engraving machine.  It captures fine details, and it still amazes us with what it is capable of.

Can I pick up my order?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, we would love to meet you!  We are located in Parksville BC. If you'd like to pick up your order in person, let us know when you place the order.  When your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange a date and time for pick up, and at that time, we will provide you with the address.
